'Andrew Transport Historian' is employed by a UK Bus Company, working as a Commercial Operations Administrator. He has a history of roles in the Transport Industry including Freight Forwarding, Cabin Crew (for Astraeus Airlines) and operating his own Airport Taxi business. In the early 2000s he gained his Private Pilot's Licence and has flown the Cessna 152, Piper Cherokee, Diamond DA40 & DA42. Andy has been an avid Transport Enthusiast/Spotter all his life and has accumulated a vast collection of transport and transport-related books. These include complete unmarked collections of JP Airline Fleets, Ian Allan Civil Aircraft Markings, Railway ABC Combined Volumes (bar one) and Capital Transport and BBP Bus Handbooks. Reference collections include complete sets of Putnam's Aeronautical series and Talbot Booth's 'Merchant Ships.'
