'Andrew Transport Historian' is employed by a UK Bus Company as a Commercial Operations Administrator. With a rich history in the transport industry, he has held various roles, including Freight Forwarding, Cabin Crew for Astraeus Airlines, and even running his own Airport Taxi business. In the early 2000s, he earned his Private Pilot's Licence and has flown various aircraft, including the Cessna 152, Piper Cherokee, and Diamond DA40 & DA42. As a lifelong Transport Enthusiast and Spotter, Andy has developed an impressive collection of transport books, focusing on both transport history and book collecting. His library features complete unmarked collections of JP Airline Fleets, Ian Allan Civil Aircraft Markings, and Railway ABC Combined Volumes, along with Capital Transport and BBP Bus Handbooks. His reference collection includes complete sets of Putnam's Aeronautical series and Talbot Booth's 'Merchant Ships.'
